In recognition of the importance of eCargo bikes and their huge potential for use within UK industry, the Department for Transport together with the Energy Saving Trust have created the eCargo Bike Grant Fund, a £400,000 pot available to support organisations with the purchase of eCargo bikes for business use.

Grant funding will be 40% of the gross cost (total amount including VAT) of each ecargo bike, up to a maximum of £2,500 for two-wheel models and £4,500 for three-wheel models. Applications will be capped at 5 ecargo bikes per organisation. Applications for over five bikes will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Complete the Grant Application

This online portal has 6 stages of information input that we can help guide you through. Included in this are company details, eCargo bike specs, and T's & C's of the grant. On receipt of the completed application, the EST aims to provide a decision within 15 working days.
